Who pays for MUA travel and stay at a destination wedding?

The client covers flights, accommodation, and meals. We require safe, comfortable lodging, ideally at or very close to the wedding venue to ensure we are always on time for early morning or late-night prep.

Who books the flights and hotel?

Typically, the client or their wedding planner handles the bookings so they align perfectly with the group's logistics and venue contracts. We provide our travel requirements clearly upfront.

Is it cheaper to hire a local MUA at a destination?

It can save on flights and accommodation, but bringing your trusted MUA guarantees consistency, professionalism, and the specific aesthetic you desire—eliminating high-risk surprises on your wedding day.

How far in advance should I book makeup for a destination wedding?
